POSITION: Financial Analyst
DESCRIPTION: The Financial Analyst will participate directly with Associates and Managing Directors on valuations of public and private companies, fairness opinions, and merger and acquisition advisory services.  Responsibilities include the following:

  1. Performing financial modeling, forecasting, and quantitative analysis
  2. Participating in due diligence meetings and conducting company, industry, and economic research
  3. Analyzing general economic conditions and industry  specific conditions and trends
  4. Performing corporate valuations including analysis of discounted cash flows, capitalization of earnings, comparable companies and merger and acquisition transactions
  5. Preparing written valuation reports for client presentation
     

QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree (finance or accounting majors preferred)

  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Minimum 3.4 GPA


POSITION: Associate
DESCRIPTION: Individual will participate in various financial advisory functions, including analysis and valuation of corporate securities of private and publicly traded corporations and partnership interests. The job requires excellent report-writing and communication skills. Experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs is essential.  Duties will include project management and supervision of analysts and part-time interns.  Other assignments include various corporate finance activities, including drafting of fairness opinions and mergers and acquisitions assignments.  Associates are expected to develop client interaction and to participate in due diligence meetings. Responsibilities also include analyzing financial statements and performing company, industry and economic research.

QUALIFICATIONS: MBA (or MS in Finance or Accounting)

  • 12 hours of accounting coursework
  • Willing to work a minimum of 50 to 55 hours per week
  • Ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of investment or corporate banking or commercial credit analysis experience (valuation experience a plus)
  • Minimum 3.3/4.0 GPA
  • Willing to work in a merit pay environment with a bonus as a significant portion of compensation
