Addition to Dallas Office
Howard Frazier Barker Elliott, Inc. has hired Kent Porter as Vice President in its Dallas office.
Mr. Porter has over 15 years of experience in a variety of fields including business development, private equity, venture capital, and retail brokerage. Prior to joining HFBE, Mr. Porter served as Vice President of Strategic Development at Bluestreak Media, Inc. where he was responsible for overseeing and implementing new business development and marketing programs for the firm as well as pricing and promotion, product development, financial modeling, revenue and cost analyses. Previously, Mr. Porter served as Director of Marquesas Capital, a private equity investing partnership, where he evaluated investment opportunities and assessed business development vision and strategy for the firm. Additionally, Mr. Porter was a founding member of Stingray Marketing and served as Director of Business Development for the firm. Mr. Porter’s experience also includes serving as Assistant District Manager at AXA Advisors where he assisted and managed a retail broker district office with thirty-two retail brokers. Mr. Porter received a Bachelor of Business Administration from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
