Alex Howard And William Frazier To Speak At AICPA/ASA Conference
Alex Howard and Will Frazier will be speaking at The First Ever AICPA/ASA National Business Valuation Conference on November 14-16, 2005 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
Alex Howard's presentation, Current Issues in Fairness Opinions, will address the current requirements for disclosure and valuation approaches, including factors related to opinion purpose, disclosure and liability of public vs. private companies, the relevance of the levels of value, and responding to SEC comments regarding fairness opinion independence.
Will Frazier will discuss corporate level capital gains taxes and fair market value. Mr. Frazier will be speaking with Barry Sziklay of Cipolla Sziklay LLC, in a point-counterpoint debate regarding the application of the asset approach to valuing corporate ownership interests and related built-in gains.
