Shishir Khetan Rejoins HFBE
HOUSTON, TX - Howard Frazier Barker Elliott, Inc., is pleased to announce that Shishir R. Khetan, CFA, has rejoined HFBE as Managing Director. Mr. Khetan will focus on providing financial advisory and valuation services for financial reporting and tax-planning purposes. He has over thirteen years of global experience in corporate finance, valuation and business development and has advised clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small privately held companies, private equity and investment funds, family offices, and accounting, legal, and tax advisors. Subject companies represent a broad range of industries, including energy, infrastructure, real estate, chemicals, financial services, healthcare, technology, general manufacturing, and services.
Prior to rejoining HFBE, Mr. Khetan worked in Asia for two years at Maytas Infra, Ltd., a publicly traded infrastructure development and construction company, where he led their Mergers & Acquisitions group. Preceding his time at Maytas, Mr. Khetan was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young LLP, a global accounting and advisory firm. At Ernst & Young, Mr. Khetan focused on providing financial advisory and valuation services for financial reporting purposes including valuations for purchase price allocations, intangible asset impairment testing, employee stock options, and other corporate and tax- planning purposes.
Mr. Khetan originally joined HFBE in 1997 and spent over nine years managing financial advisory and valuation projects with the firm. He has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Houston Society of Financial Analysts.
